Issue 41 - February 2013
Minnesota Green Chemistry Forum
ChemCeed attended this year's Minnesota Green Chemistry Forum "Beakers to Business Plans".  The forum featured keynotes by Dr. Paul Anastas of Yale University, one of the "fathers of green chemistry", as well as panels and break-out sessions that focused on all areas of innovation involving green chemistry from research and development,to academic-business partnerships, to intellectual property issues. ChemCeed is looking to become more involved in this growing area of the chemical industry as we continue to promote our naturally-based and renewable product lines.

Uses for Tolyltriazole
You may already be aware that Tolyltriazole is a corrosion inhibitor for the metal working, water treatment, and custom blending industries, but did you know that it can also be used as a corrosion inhibitor in electronics, cleaners and detergents, fuels, ink and photography? In addition, besides its corrosion inhibiting properties, tolyltriazole can also be used as a aircraft runway deicer.
