Plasticizer Highlight: Dioctyl Maleate
Dioctyl Maleate is a specialty plasticizer and co-monomer that may be used in vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, and styrene. Styrene copolymers have excellent impact resistance, anti-cracking, electrical and optical properties and find applications in films, coatings, adhesives, rubber, and paint.  The vinyl chloride copolymer can be used for film applications and has good low temperature flexibility.

The Year in Review
This past year has been a year of changes and growth for ChemCeed.  In 2012 ChemCeed expanded product lines in different areas, including addition of a high-solvating, fast-fusing phthalate replacement plasticizer and the strengthening of our phthalate-free plasticizer line.  ChemCeed also began distributing a line of bioplastics produced by manufacturer FKuR.

ChemCeed began the process of expanding our Chippewa Falls, WI location in order to better fit our needs for both office space and warehousing.  Construction on our new facility is currently in progress and is scheduled to be completed in February of this year.

Lastly, ChemCeed would like to thank its staff for their part in the successful year.  ChemCeed established a rotating internship program and had five interns over the course of the year.  ChemCeed also added 3 new part-time positions to our team.

ChemCeed would like to wish you a Happy New Year of opportunities  in 2013!
