Packaging and Blending

Caprylic Acid
Caprylic acid, also known as octanoic acid, is a common eight carbon saturated fatty acid. Caprylic acid is used in various industries. It is used in the production of esters for perfumes and in dyes, and can also be used in the production of various amides and plasticizers. Caprylic acid is an additive in the lubricant industry and in the rubber industry as an activator/accelerator. It is also a very good antimicrobial pesticide for food processing equipment for places such as wineries and breweries. In soaps and detergents, it can find its use as a surfactant.
