Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) is a plasticizer used in poly-vinyl chloride (PVC) plastic to increase flexibility. Diisobutyl phthalate can be used replacement for dibutyl phthalate due to lower production costs. Additionally, DIBP can be used in applications such as ink, coatings, lacquers, and adhesives.
